358/2 Days Update (along with my other random stuff...)

3.png Namine picture by Tifa_Lockhart_ It's been about a week without any posts, so Miss Naminé is here to fix that!

I've had quite a lot of things to do, cello practice, homework, rehersals, etc.

And so... Let's start with a random thing from today.

My friend and I were bored in Journalism (I stink at writing those boring articles) and so, we used Google as a way of entertainment, and since we are both in Orchestra (she's first chair of her violin section, I'm currently sixth out of seven cellos) we search up random string stuff (most expensive cello, best violinist, etc.) and eventually foun an article about the YouTube Symphony Orchestra. Since YouTube is blocked on our school's computers, we had to read articles on different sites. We eventually found out that the Orchestra would be playing in Carnegie Hall and plotted our journey to New York, which involved finding an adult, earning/raising over $1500 (extra chores, playing in front of stores, etc.), getting tickets to the concert and for the plane and making it back in one piece.

Of course, that would never happen, but hey, we can dream right? Anyway, I looked it up for my friends and found out that they have videos of all the winners (who all sound awesome, by the way) and details about the competition.

I have a Full Orchestra competition on Thursday, so please wish us luck! One of my best friends, and our first chair and main bassoon player, is unable to attended due to a failing grade, so we do have a good chance that we might not do so well. The problem is, she plays all of the top/main/difficult parts, and the other two bassoon boys play all the easy/unimportant parts.

But we do have an awesome chance that we'll do great.

Oh and I got the game Princess Debut. Really girly and kinda cheesy, but it's pretty much every girl's childhood fntasy in game form. Date cute princes, chose a prince to be your dance partner, dance your way to success and eventually go to a ball and marry said prince. And I'm currently addicted to it >.<

And also- My sister, dad and I are currently obsessed with the show House M.D.. Seriously a great show. If you don't like it... major issues. Major.
